G & G Beverage Distributors, Inc. officially went into business on December 9, 1980. The first building was a small office and warehouse located in North Haven, Connecticut. In the beginning we had twenty-one employees. As business increased and more products were incorporated, G & G opened a 54,000 square foot facility. We now employ approximately fifty people in Wallingford, Connecticut. We are known as one of the regions foremost beverage distributorships. The principal stockholders are Mr. Mark R. Gingras, the President of our organization and Mrs. Christine G. Gingras, the Secretary/Treasurer.


GENERAL INFORMATION

The Sales Department personnel consists of a General Sales Manager/Marketing Manager, two Field Sales Managers, fourteen Sales Representatives, three Merchandisers, a Draught Specialist, and a media sign specialist.

Our marketing area consists of New Haven County, covering a population of approximately 785,000 with 1,800 company accounts.

The corporation owns a new building at 207 Church Street, in the Yalesville section of Wallingford, Connecticut. The building consists of 54,000 square feet with a 12,000 square foot walk-in cooler. The entire facility is climate controlled.

We maintain 16 insulated sideloader trucks for delivery purposes, two light delivery trucks for additional service, and two vans for emergency service.

A thirty day inventory of packaged products and a twenty-one day inventory of draught product is maintained. Quality and fresh product control programs have been implemented for the past 25 years.

The operation of this business, as conceived by the applicants, is conducted pursuant to applicable Federal, State, and/or Municipal laws; fair and equitable seller-buyer business relationships and a non-discriminating employment policy is in effect.

The following is a list of both Federal and State permits which allow us to conduct business as a Wholesaler in the United States:

G & G Beverage Distributors, Inc. sells its products within and including all territory in New Haven County. G & G maintains exclusive rights to sell most of its products within New Haven County. As a result of the variety of products G & G Beverage sells, we service a vast diversification of customers including: Package Stores, Bars, and Restaurants

Because of our product variety, we feel that almost any group or organization holds the possibility of becoming a potential customer of G & G Beverage.
